International Meteor Conference 2010 - Armagh, Severna Irska

IMC 2010 bo v organizaciji observatorija Armagh na Severnem Irskem. Glede na to, da organizirajo profiji, si lahko obetamo se kako znano ime meteorske astronomije vec, morda pa tudi vec udelezencev iz druge strani Luze.

After another very successful International Meteor Conference (IMC), in
Porec, Croatia, the next IMC will take place in Armagh, Northern Ireland,
from 2010 September 16th (Thursday evening) to 19th (Sunday lunchtime). It
will be organized by the Armagh Observatory, a modern astronomical research
institute having a rich heritage and a longstanding association with meteor
science. Most participants will be accommodated in the Armagh City Youth
Hostel; there is also bed & breakfast and hotel accommodation in Armagh.
The registration fee, probably similar to this year at 150 EUR, and other
details will appear in time for registration to open early in 2010. The
local organizing committee is Apostolos Christou (chairman), David Asher,
Geert Barentsen and Miruna Popescu. More information will be communicated
when it becomes available, through this mailing list, the Journal WGN, and
the website of the International Meteor Organization.

Kmalu se bo treba odlocit, ce zelimo dobiti ugodne letalske vozovnice.
Trenutno stane povratni let Brnik-London-Belfast okrog 170 EUR.

Ce se koga zanima Mednarodna meteorska konferenca na Irskem, naj cimprej sporoci, sicer se bo moral zorganizirati sam.

The International Meteor Conference (IMC) is the IMO's annual conference where
meteor workers from many countries meet not only to share their knowledge,
results, and expertise, but also to get to know each other at a more personal
level, and the combination of these two characteristics makes the IMC a unique
event one should not miss!

This year's IMC will take place in Armagh, Northern Ireland, from September 16

Ali kdo razmišlja o IMC-ju?
Sam bom zelo verjetno šel, pa tudi Javor mislim, da bo šel. Trenutno je karta iz Brnika do Belfasta okrog 200€.
